Hi Appropolis,

Great question! If you've decided that Google AdWords is something you'd like to try, I'd recommend starting with advertising on keywords. It can be more cost-effective than the Display Network and banner ads. With keywords, you know that someone is interested in your topic - because they've just searched for that keyword.

Hope that helps!

Would you suggest to start with Search Network or Display Network if going with Google AdWords? As Tom said above, it would really depend on your ROI...especially when selling a $0.99 app right?

Great post, thanks.

Thanks very much for your wonderful page;this is the words that keeps me on track through my day. I've been searching around for your site after asked to visit them from a colleague and was thrilled when I was able to find it after searching for awhile. Being a demanding blogger, I'm blessed to see others taking initivative and contributing to the community. Just wanted to comment to show my support for your page as it is very encouraging, and many writers do not get acknowledgment they deserve. I am sure I'll be back and will send some of my friends.

Search Engine PPC advertising can be quite costly. You always have to look at the ROI on the advertising cost spent, it's a whole topic by itself. In the end, if the profit it brings covers your cost, then it's all worth it.
